Related Data dialog box

Use the Related Data dialog box to view and edit feature attributes of selected features in related tables. Feature layer attributes can be viewed and edited using the Attribute Editor user interface. When features have attributes linked through related tables, you can use this dialog box to view and edit the attributes in those related tables.

You can access this dialog box from the Related Data context menu option of a feature layer in the Esri Contents pane or from the Related Data button on the Identify Features section of the ribbon.

The dialog box elements are shown in the following image and described in the table below. The number in the image correspond to the numbers in the table.

Display of the key field that links the tables.

A drop-down list to switch between related tables of the feature.

Field visibility control. Use this button to turn the visibility of fields in the related table on and off.

Use the more button to access a context menu that contains various controls to work with selected related records. You can use the Show all option to display all the related records in the table in addition to those linked to the selected feature, and export selected records to a .csv file.

Display an editable grid of related records. The ability to edit record values depends on your editing privileges of the layer and the related table.
