Credits

Credits are the currency used in ArcGIS.

The number of credits available to you depends on your user type and your organization's credit budget. The amount of credits you need depends on the processes you use, each of which has associated costs.

Credit consuming capabilities

The following are other ArcGIS capabilities and user actions in ArcGIS for Microsoft 365 that consume credits:

  • Add premium content from ArcGIS.
  • Interact with ArcGIS Living Atlas premium layers in the map.
  • Interact with information cards that use ArcGIS GeoEnrichment Service data.
  • Interact with layers that use ArcGIS GeoEnrichment Service data (for example, U.S. states layers and U.S. ZIP code layers).
  • Share a map.
  • Create buffer/drive time analyses that use ArcGIS GeoEnrichment Service and Network Analysis (traffic) Service. See Create Drive-Time Areas in the ArcGIS Online help to learn more about these services.
