There are certain browser and software requirements to run each component of Survey123.
Online requirements
Online connectivity is needed to access the Survey123 API and ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. For this reason, a connection to the internet and access to either ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise are required for Survey123 Studio, Survey123 Connect, the Survey123 website, the Survey123 web app, as well as for Survey123 Mobile and the Survey123 field app to download and submit surveys.
Some organizations may choose to install the Survey123 website alongside a deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise to support a disconnected environment. In this case, online connectivity is not required, only the organization's network connectivity is required.
ArcGIS requirements
ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 and later are supported. For more information about ArcGIS Enterprise, see Use Survey123 with ArcGIS Enterprise.
The various user types and roles in ArcGIS organizations have access to different features of ArcGIS Survey123. You can also use ArcGIS roles to restrict privileges that are initially included with a user type. For example, if a Creator user type is assigned a User role, its privileges to publish feature layers are revoked. Similarly, if a Mobile Worker user type is assigned a Viewer role, its privileges will be similar to those of a Viewer user type. Caution:
After updating the operating system version on some iOS devices, the field app may no longer work. For information, see Compatibility issues.
On iOS, it is recommended that the device has an A12 chip or later. See Apple's Required device capabilities and confirm that the device includes the iphone-ipad-minimum-performance-a12 capability.
Hardware requirements
The following are the minimum requirements for running Survey123 Mobile, the field app, Survey123 Studio, or Survey123 Connect on Windows devices:

Hardware requirements are not listed for Android and iOS because on these platforms, the operating system version is the best indicator of whether the field app is supported on that device.
Hardware requirements for Spike
Note:
This section describes functionality that is only available in Survey123 Connect and the Survey123 field app. This functionality is not available in Survey123 Studio or Survey123 Mobile.
The field app supports integration with Spike, a laser measurement solution developed by ikeGPS that allows you to capture the measurements and location of an object from a photo. For information about devices supported by the Spike hardware, see the Spike Support.
Supported languages
The following languages are supported by Survey123 Mobile, the field app, Survey123 Studio, Survey123 Connect, the web app, and the Survey123 website. When the language is changed, app text is translated, and dates, times, and numbers display in the expected format for the language. On iOS, for Survey123 Mobile and the field app, the device region must also be set to match the language.

For Survey123 Mobile, the field app, Survey123 Studio, and Survey123 Connect, the default language used is determined by your device's language setting.
For the web app and website, the default language used is determined by your ArcGIS organization user language setting. When a user is not signed in to an ArcGIS organization, the web browser settings are used in the web app and website.
