Component relationship graphing allows GIS administrators to visualize how hardware and software components in a GIS deployment are related. This provides greater insight into how degraded performance and offline systems affect other parts of the GIS deployment, and helps administrators plan system maintenance windows and perform trace and root cause analysis.
When components are registered, relationships to other registered components are automatically discovered and managed by a component's inventory observer. It may take several minutes for all relationships to be discovered after component registration. The following table lists the component relationships supported in ArcGIS Monitor:
