Overview
Esri Maps for MicroStrategy Mobile is delivered as an iOS client framework that is used to build a custom iOS app with MicroStrategy Mobile SDK. This custom iOS app, referred to as Esri Maps for MicroStrategy Mobile, is supported on iPad devices installed.
Deployment of the mobile app requires an installation of the Esri Maps for MicroStrategy server plug-in on the MicroStrategy Mobile server. The Esri Maps for MicroStrategy server plug-in allows you to integrate your MicroStrategy business intelligence (BI) data with the ArcGIS platform. The ArcGIS platform refers to ArcGIS Online (available at www.arcgis.com) or to an on-premises Portal for ArcGIS (available through a URL specific to your organization). Installing the Esri Maps for MicroStrategy plug-in allows users of the Esri Maps for MicroStrategy Mobile app to access Esri maps included in MicroStrategy Report Services documents.
Before the Esri Maps for MicroStrategy Mobile app can be shared and used, it must first be compiled. It is recommended that you secure the services of a developer in your organization to compile the Esri Maps for MicroStrategy Mobile app.
