Available with the ArcGIS Indoors Maps extension.
ArcGIS Online organizations are provisioned for ArcGIS Indoors with the Indoors extensions. These extensions include ArcGIS Indoors Maps and, optionally, ArcGIS Indoors Spaces. ArcGIS Indoors Spaces is an add-on extension to ArcGIS Indoors Maps that enables the Floor Plan Editor web app.
Set up access for ArcGIS Pro
To assign privileges to members of an organization that need access to ArcGIS Pro, complete the following steps:
- Assign the Professional Plus user type to the named users in the organization who need access to ArcGIS Pro.
- Grant these named users access to the following extensions:
- 3D Analyst
- Network Analyst
- Assign these named users the Publisher role.
Members of the organization that need access to ArcGIS Pro must sign in to the organization in ArcGIS Pro before using the ArcGIS Indoors geoprocessing tools.
Invite and add members
ArcGIS Online allows you to manage members in your organization, as well as their roles and associated privileges.
Note:
Indoors supports built-in authentication and SAML.
Create users and assign roles and types
When you create users, review the type of users available for details about assigning roles and access.
You can change the user type for multiple members of an ArcGIS organization at the same time. For example, you can change the user type for many users to Contributor.
To access the Floor Plan Editor app, a user must be assigned the Contributor user type or higher.
To create the Floor Plan Editor app, a user must have the privileges associated with the default role of Publisher or higher.
To open, edit, and merge changes in plans, a user must have the privileges associated with the default role of Data Editor or higher.
