New Field Maps Issues can be edited within the Field Maps mobile app after they have been created. This is particularly useful if the information stored in the issue needs to be updated before being uploaded to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Note:
Once an issue is uploaded to ACC it can no longer be edited in the Field Maps mobile app.

This feature requires the basic knowledge of ArcGIS Field Maps. If you need more information about configuring the ArcGIS Field Maps app in your device, visit the ArcGIS Field Maps help documentation.
Complete these steps to edit New Field Maps Issues in the Field Maps mobile app:
- Open the Field Maps app on your mobile device.
- Select the ArcGIS GeoBIM web map that was created after you enabled ArcGIS Field Maps on your project.
The web map will open to its default extent.
- Select a New Field Maps Issue on the map.
Note:
New Field Maps Issues symbols have a circular outline with no fill.The form for the selected issue appears at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down through the metadata until you see the Edit button, then click Edit.
A crosshairs symbol appears on the map to edit the New Field Maps Issue location.
- Optionally, move the crosshairs to a new location within the linked document and select Update Point.
- Optionally, update the editable fields in the form.
Note:
The Linked Document and Status fields cannot be edited in the Field Maps mobile app. You can change these fields by editing New Field Maps Issues in the ArcGIS GeoBIM app.
Updating the Autodesk Type field will cause the New Field Maps Issue symbol to change color after submitting the edit.
- Click Submit.
Edits have been saved for the New Field Maps Issue.
You are now ready to upload Field Maps issues to Autodesk Construction Cloud.
