The latest update of ArcGIS for Excel includes the quality enhancements and functionality described below.
- Use Filter labels to control which labels are displayed based on feature attributes.
- Expand the Snap to layer menu to select a supported layer, feature layers, or Excel data layers (layers created using Microsoft Excel data) from the map that you want to snap to while measuring.
- Four new functions have been added for this release,: PROJECTPOINT, PROJECTGEOMETRY, COORDINATETONOTATION, and COORDINATEFROMNOTATION.
- Apply map symbology colors to the corresponding attribute column in the Excel worksheet.
- Time animation now has more options for different modes.
- ArcGIS for Excel provides data edit controls and supports the Undo capability to help prevent accidental edits to feature layers and give you more control over when changes are saved.
