The latest update of ArcGIS for Excel includes the quality enhancements and functionality described below.
- Find closest—Use either a line distance or a travel mode to measure between input features and near features.
- When you sign out of your ArcGIS account, the map reverts to the guest user experience. The current ArcGIS connection is visible, and you can continue as a guest user, or click Reset connection.
- Support is now available for Big Integer if you are working with large numbers .
- If you make changes to a map that you've shared, you can update the data of the layers in it.
- The user interface is now more intuitive and usable, with translation and localization issues fixed and improved, and new ArcGIS ribbon functionality included.
- New options have been added to the charts, dot density, predominant category, and relationship symbol types.
- The pop-up window now has the Select Row option
that allows users to select the corresponding row associated with the feature on the map in the Excel worksheet.
