Esri partners with the National Statistical Directory of Economic Units (DENUE, or Directorio Estadístico Nacional de Unidades Económicas) to provide Places data for Mexico through the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI, or Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía y Informatica). A place may be a business, a government building such as a post office, a landmark like the Eiffel Tower, or a natural feature such as a lake or a trail head.
DENUE offers data about the identification, location, economic activity, and size of active businesses in the national territory in the segment of large establishments. Visit Introduction to places data for more information.
