ArcGIS Navigator is available on Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for iPad and iPhone.
You must have an ArcGIS organizational account provisioned with an ArcGIS Navigator license to use the app.
Note:
If you can't access Google Play, see the technical article about downloading Navigator from Esri.
ArcGIS Navigator is available to members of ArcGIS organizations with accounts that have been configured with an ArcGIS Navigator license. This includes those with a subscription to ArcGIS Online or an account on ArcGIS Enterprise. For more information, see Licensing Terms of Use.
Sign in with your ArcGIS organizational account that is configured with an ArcGIS Navigator license. Once signed in, download a map for your area and search for locations or shared routes to start navigating. See Prepare Navigator for details.
The following are a couple of common issues when trying to sign in:
- Verify that you typed your user name and password correctly.
- Make sure your account is part of an ArcGIS organization, and that your account is configured with an ArcGIS Navigator license.
Note:
If you don't have an ArcGIS organizational account, sign up for a free trial.
If you are a member of an organization on ArcGIS Online and need an ArcGIS Navigator trial license added to it, request a free trial.
See Device requirements. At the current release, iOS 11 or later and Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later are supported.
The ArcGIS Navigator team wants to hear from you about the app. You can provide feedback on the GeoNet ArcGIS Navigator community page or by sending an email to ArcGISNavigator@esri.com. If you're experiencing issues using the app, contact Esri Technical Support.
Navigator supports downloadable navigation maps, including those provided by Esri, and custom navigation maps created in ArcGIS Pro 1.2 or later. See ArcGIS Navigator coverage for details about which regions currently have navigation maps that come with Navigator.
Note:
If you're connected to ArcGIS Enterprise and you don't see the navigation maps you need, work with your portal administrator to get additional maps registered with your portal.
Tap an asset to see more information about it in the panel. If you cannot see the information you require, talk to your map author about whether they need to configure pop-ups.
You can search for your organization's assets on the map just as you would search for any other type of feature. Tap Places, tap Search, type the name of the asset you're looking for, and tap Search on the keyboard. See Quick reference for more details. If you're unable to search for the assets you require, talk to your map author about whether they need to enable searching for assets.
Tap the Routes tab to see routes that have been shared with you. See Use shared routes for details.
Navigator allows you to route to your assets and navigate offline. While there are no plans to add new capabilities to Navigator, it will continue to be supported. New capabilities will be part of the new ArcGIS Field Maps app. ArcGIS Field Maps will be the only app your mobile workforce needs to complete their map-centric workflows. They will be able to collect data, mark up maps, capture location tracks, complete assignments, and navigate to assets all from one app. The ArcGIS Field Maps app has a beta program and will be released in three phases, the first of which will be made available in Q3 2020.
