The Feature Layer (archive) source type in ArcGIS Velocity loads features that have been exported to a feature layer archive.

- When choosing a feature layer that has an associated feature layer archive, you can filter the available content while browsing for your content or your organization's content. You can further filter by the following:
- Content modified on a specific date
- Content created on a specific date
- Content with specific tags
- A feature layer archive only includes features that have been exported and deleted from the associated active feature layer. In real-time analytics, the feature layer archive can be brought in as a source.
- When data is exported to the feature layer archive, additional date fields START_TIME and END_TIME of the feature are created. The values are a duplicate of the date and time values in the original fields and can be dropped if necessary.
- After configuring source connection properties,configure input data to define the schema and the key properties.
