A site's owner or core team members can configure a site's URL with a custom domain that they own or was purchased to uniquely represent the site.
Create a CNAME record
ArcGIS Hub only supports CNAME domain name service (DNS) entries. To get started, sign in to your DNS provider and create a CNAME entry pointing to hub.arcgis.com. You can set up a redirect on your root domain resolving to a CNAME on www. For example, browsing to example.com goes to www.example.com. The CNAME of www is registered to hub.arcgis.com. This setup allows traffic from example.com to end up at the site.
Aviso:
Do not register your CNAME to your specific Hub site. You must register the CNAME to hub.arcgis.com exactly. This allows you to move the domain between your sites.
Add the custom domain to your site
Once you’ve created with a CNAME record, you can configure your site’s web address with the new domain.
- Open a site in edit mode.
- In Settings on the side panel, click Domain Settings.
- Click Modify Domain Settings and choose Custom Domain.
-
Ensure that you've created a CNAME record and proceed to the second step to validate the CNAME.
Once the CNAME has been validated, you must confirm that you understand that updating your site's URL with its new domain may take up to 24 hours to complete.
- Click Done.An email is sent from arcgis.com to the site's owner and core team members to remind them that the site's URL is being updated. During this time, you can continue to publish updates to the site at its current URL. An additional confirmation email is sent once the domain has been successfully updated.
Dica:
To check the status of the domain update, click the Save drop-down menu and choose Preview site.
