StreetMap Premium (SMP) is licensed through two pathways depending on the component:
- StreetMap Premium extension*
- StreetMap Premium license file (.sdlic)**
Starting with the 2024 releases of StreetMap Premium, the year and version number will appear in the .sdlic file name. The 2023 and earlier releases of StreetMap Premium have the word 'rollover' in the file name. For example:
- North America
- 2023 license file name: 9999-smp-na-rollover-wa-all-06_30_25.sdlic
- 2024 license file name: 9999-smp-na-2024.2-wa-all-06_30_25.sdlic
- Europe
- 2023 license file name: 9999-smp-eu-rollover-eu-all-06_30_25.sdlic
- 2024 license file name: 9999-smp-eu-2024.1-eu-all-06_30_25.sdlic
The 2023 .sdlic license files cannot be used with the newer 2024 StreetMap Premium releases.
The licensing requirements for using ArcGIS StreetMap Premium in ArcGIS products are outlined in the following table:

*Refer to ArcGIS Pro help for instructions on enabling a StreetMap Premium extension for ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Enterprise. ArcGIS Enterprise users will automatically receive two extensions (one for ArcGIS Pro and one for ArcGIS Enterprise) from Esri Customer Service.
