Shared charts allow you to visualize jobs in the Map view and change the color of job locations based on attribute values defined in the charts. You can create custom shared charts and share them with workflow item users or specific groups. Shared charts can be accessed on the Manage page in the summary panel.
Create shared charts
Complete these steps to create shared charts:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Click the Design tab.
The Design page appears.

- Click Settings .

- Click the Shared Charts tab.
- Click Create New in the Saved Charts panel.
- Provide a name for the shared chart in the Chart Name text box.
- Provide a field name in the Display Field text box.
The data from this field is used to create the chart.
- Provide a name for the field in the Display Name text box.
The Display Name text is what appears in the chart and should concisely convey the contents of the field to help others understand the data.
- Optionally, click the Sort Direction drop-down arrow and change the sort order.
- Optionally, click the Color Ramp drop-down arrow and change the chart's color scheme.
- Choose one of the following options in the Share Chart With section:
- Everyone—Share the search with all workflow item users.
- Group—Check the Shared To check box next to each of the workflow item groups you want to give access to the shared search.
- Click Save to save the chart.
Change the display order of shared charts
You can specify the display order of shared charts in the summary panel on the Manage page.
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Click the Design tab.
The Design page appears.

- Click Settings .

- Click the Shared Charts tab.
- Click the chart that you want to reorder in the Saved Charts list.
- Click Move To Top or Move To Bottom , or click Reorder Chart and drag the chart to the desired location.
- Click Save to update the display order.
- Repeat the steps to reorder more shared charts.
Duplicate shared charts
Duplicating a shared chart allows you to make a copy of a shared chart that can be used as a starting point for charts with similar criteria. Complete these steps to duplicate a shared chart:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Click the Design tab.
The Design page appears.

- Click Settings .

- Click the Shared Charts tab.
- Click the shared chart that you want to duplicate in the Saved Charts list.
- Click More Actions and click Duplicate Chart.
The duplicated shared chart appears in the Saved Charts list with - Copy appended to its name.
The shared chart can now be edited and used to create a chart with similar criteria.
Edit shared charts
Complete these steps to edit shared charts:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Click the Design tab.
The Design page appears.

- Click the Shared Charts tab.
- Click the name of the shared chart you want to edit in the Saved Charts list.
Tip:
You can filter the Saved Charts list by providing a search term in the Search Saved Charts text box.
- Update chart settings as necessary.
- Click Save to save the changes.
Delete shared charts
Deleting a shared chart is permanent and can’t be undone. Complete these steps to delete shared charts:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Click the Design tab.
The Design page appears.

- Click the Shared Charts tab.
- Click the name of the shared chart you want to delete in the Saved Charts list.
Tip:
You can filter the Saved Charts list by providing a search term in the Search Saved Charts text box.
- Click More Actions in the panel and click Delete Chart.
A confirmation message appears.
- Click Yes to delete the shared chart or click No to cancel.

Use the syntax tablename.fieldname to search for a field in an extended properties table. This format cannot be used to search for feature service extended properties.
