Share to ArcGIS Online

Publishing your data from Site Scan to ArcGIS Online allows you to extend the value of your data products by performing advanced analysis, creating web maps and applications, and sharing the data with others within or outside of your organization.

  1. To publish data to ArcGIS Online from a mission, click the Share to ArcGIS option at the bottom of the mission.
  2. When prompted, click Sign in to ArcGIS Online.
  3. Enter a prefix name for your published data products under ArcGIS Online Item Prefix.

    ArcGIS Online Item Prefix refers to the naming convention you would like to use to manage your items in your ArcGIS Online organization. It is recommended that you use something you can easily remember for the specific project you're working on to help organize your projects in ArcGIS Online.

  4. If desired, expand Additional ArcGIS Online options.
    1. For Select or create a folder, select the folder in which to share your mission in ArcGIS Online. You can select an existing folder, or create a new one.
    2. For Share to these groups, select the groups in your ArcGIS Onlineorganization with whom to share your mission.
    3. For All tags to all items, create tags for the items you are sharing to ArcGIS Online.
    4. For Add a description to all items, write a description for the items you are uploading.
  5. For Products, you can either select all products or pick specific products to publish to ArcGIS Online.
  6. Click Publish.

The Check Status tab will show you the status of your upload to ArcGIS Online.
