View the full extent of a layer

Standard users can perform all the functions of this workflow; you do not need to sign in to your ArcGIS account.

You can zoom out to view the full extent of a layer on an ArcGIS for Microsoft 365 map.

To view the extent of a layer, complete the following steps:

1. From the map tools, click the Layers button .

   The Layers list appears on the map.

2. On the layer you want to view, click the More options button .
3. Click the Zoom to button .

   The map zooms to a resolution that shows all the features in the layer.
