Metrics are numerical values that are collected over time to track various aspects of components, such as performance, usage, and health. ArcGIS Monitor includes a variety of metrics that are unique to each component type, some general and others that are useful when troubleshooting specific types of issues. Metrics can also be used to assess fluctuations and variations to determine if a component is operating within expected parameters, which can then be configured as alert rules.
Once components are registered, the collected metrics data for the components can be viewed on the Metrics tab on the Monitoring page. Individual component metrics can also be viewed on the Metrics tab on the component's Overview page.
