Notifications inform users of specific events and changes to the monitored environment, such as an alert for low system resources on a host component or an upcoming incident for scheduled maintenance. You can subscribe to ArcGIS Monitor resource events, events for any resource across the monitored environment, or events for a single collection.
Notifications provide two channels for delivery: email and webhooks. When notifications are delivered via email, events are aggregated and sent in batches according to the specified interval setting. When notifications are delivered via a webhook, any event that meets the notification conditions results in a webhook notification being sent. For example, a webhook notification configured for all new alerts would be generated each time an alert is created.

You must register an SMTP server before you can send email notifications.
