Zoom to the combined area of layers

You can have your map automatically zoom to display the combined area of specific layers each time it is loaded in a document or report. You turn on this behavior using the Zoom on load setting on each layer you want to include in the combined zoom area.

Note:

This functionality is only available in Presentation mode and Report Run mode.

  1. In the Contents pane, select the Configure layer button Configure layer beside a layer you want to include in the combined zoom area.
  2. Use the On/Off selector beside Zoom on load to turn on this setting for the layer.
  3. Repeat these steps for any other layers you want to include in the combined zoom area.

Each time the document or report is run, the map will automatically zoom to show the combined area of all the layers for which the Zoom on load setting was turned on.

    Note:

If a layer contains only a single point, when the layer is updated, the map will center on the selected point and maintain the current map extent.
