Copy a layer
Sometimes, you may want to use the same data in your map but style it differently. You can make a copy of any layer in the map and style it as desired.
Tip:
Another way to allow users to display a layer in different ways is to configure multiple styles for a layer. For more information, see Configure styles for a layer.
- In the Contents pane, choose the layer you want to copy.
- Click the Copy layer button
to create a copy of the selected layer.The new layer appears at the top of the layer list in the Contents pane. The new layer is named using the same name as that of the original layer, with - Copy appended to it.
You can rename the new layer and style it as desired.
Note:
Any interactive behaviors configured on the original layer are also copied to the new layer.
