Create the Floor Plan Editor app

Available with the ArcGIS Indoors Spaces extension.

Indoors Floor Plan Editor is a browser-based app that allows you to modify floor plan data of indoor spaces to reflect real-world changes to your workplace. Floor Plan Editor is available in the Indoors apps gallery of your ArcGIS organization with the ArcGIS Indoors Spaces extension.

Before creating the Floor Plan Editor app, you must prepare a map for Floor Plan Editor and share the map to your organization. Alternatively, you can create an indoor map from the Indoors apps gallery.

Once you create the Floor Plan Editor app, you can configure app settings for merge permissions and the automatic sign-out timer. You can use a custom object palette or the default palette and define wall features from the Details layer.

Create the app from an existing web map

Once the Floor Plan Editor web map is prepared and shared from ArcGIS Pro, and the required layers and tables have been verified, create the Floor Plan Editor app from the Indoors apps gallery.

Caution:

If you added custom fields to the Indoors schema that include 64-bit ObjectID, Big integer, Date only, Time only, or Timestamp offset, you cannot use them with the sync capability, which is necessary for Floor Plan Editor functionality.
