Use the Links Explorer widget

Use the Links Explorer widget to view and manage Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) project documents that are linked to features on a map.

View linked documents

To view documents linked to features, complete the following steps:

1. Select the feature in the Map widget that contains the linked document that you want to view.

   Tip:

   Alternatively, you can select the feature in the Table widget.

   The selected feature and its associated links display in the Links Explorer widget.

2. Click Show Linked Document in the Links Explorer widget next to the linked document you want to view.

   Autodesk Viewer opens and renders the linked document.

Add a linked document

To add a linked document to a feature, complete the following steps:

1. Select the feature in the Map widget that you want to add a linked document to.

   Tip:

   Alternatively, you can select the feature in the Table widget.

   The selected feature and its associated links display in the Links Explorer widget.

2. Click the Add Links button in the Links Explorer widget.

   Autodesk Explorer appears and, by default, shows the ACC account that is linked to your ArcGIS GeoBIM project.

3. In Autodesk Explorer, search for the document you want to link to the selected feature.

   Tip:

   The search function searches for the ACC documents with a display name that contains the search term. Clicking the Clear button on the search bar clears the search results.

4. Choose the Autodesk document to link to the selected feature.

   Tip:

   To select multiple documents, press the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking each document.

5. Click Link.

   A feature link is created between the document selected in Autodesk Explorer and the selected feature from the Map widget. The link appears in the Links Explorer widget.

Delete a linked document

To delete a linked document from a feature, complete the following steps:

1. Select the feature in the Map widget that contains the linked document that you want to delete.

   Tip:

   Alternatively, you can select the feature in the Table widget.

2. Click the Delete Link button in the Links Explorer widget.

   The linked document is deleted from the selected feature.
