User settings

ArcGIS 11.5    |

User-defined settings provide flexible and relevant experiences based on project needs. User settings are stored and saved in an account. This allows access to the ArcGIS Excalibur application on machines in different locations while maintaining a customized experience when signed in with the same account.

User settings are defined and set in the My Settings section of ArcGIS Excalibur and scale across numerous aspects of the application. Certain settings allow customization of the Search and Discover and Canvas experience by choosing a default basemap and initial extent. Other settings allow changes to the viewing mode based on the lighting environment where the application is being used. Click My Settings Map properties to open settings dialog.

In My Settings, click Reset All Saved Settings at any time to return the user settings to the application defaults. A dialog will prompt to confirm theMy Settings reset.

Click Update Settings to save the changes. A notification appears at the bottom of the application confirming this change.

Alternatively, viewing mode can be changed by clicking Toggle Theme on the side pane.
