Esri Japan Corporation is the exclusive distributor for and official representative of Esri in Japan, assisting companies by providing high-quality geographic analytics that improve spatial understanding for their organization.
The demographic data for this update is provided by Esri Japan, comprising the Census, Income, Savings, Consumer Spending and Future Population data sets. All demographic data is aggregated to the 2020 Census block boundaries.
本データの人口統計データは ESRIジャパンから提供されたものであり、国勢調査、推計年収別世帯数、推計貯蓄別世帯数、推計消費額、推計将来人口を含みます。全てのデータは、2020 年国勢調査の国勢調査境界に集計されています。

Census 国勢調査 | The data source of the Census data is the 2020 Population Census (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) and 2015 Population Census (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications). The Census 2015 data is aggregated to the 2020 census block boundaries using the block apportionment method. In this update, 876 variables were added and updated for the 2020 Census. A list of dropped variables is provided in the Appendix at the end of this document. Income 推計年収別世帯数 | Esri Japan’s income data is created by Esri Japan based on the 2020 Population Census (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) and 2018 Housing and Land Survey (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications). In this update, the data source has been updated. In addition, three new variables have been added for the estimated average annual income. 推計年収別世帯数は、総務省統計局 e-Stat 令和 2 年 国勢調査（小地域）および総務省統計局 e-Stat 平成 30 年 住宅・⼟地統計調査をデータ ソースとして ESRIジャパンにて作成しています。 本アップデートでは、データ ソースの年度更新を行いました。さらに、推計平均年収の3 変数を新たに追加しました。 |

Future Population 推計将来人口 | Esri Japan’s future population data is created by Esri Japan based on 2015 Population Census (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) and Regional Population Projections for Japan (March 2018) (IPSS).
