Complete the steps below to install CityEngine 2023.0.
Before installing CityEngine 2023.0
Before installing CityEngine 2023.0, do the following:
- Verify that your system meets all system requirements.
- This product requires authorization before use. To obtain authorization numbers, see Authorize the software.
- If you intend to use a concurrent-use license for this product, ArcGIS License Manager 2020.0 or later must also be installed. For more information, see ArcGIS License Manager for CityEngine quick start guide.
- Ensure that the user has administrator privileges.
Install CityEngine 2023.0
Complete the following steps to install CityEngine 2023.0:
- Start the CityEngine installation program, review the Introduction dialog box, and click Next.
Note:
If the CityEngine installation program does not start automatically, run the Setup script from the media or folder where the CityEngine installer was extracted.
- Review the license agreement, accept if you agree, and click Next.
- Click Next again to accept the default location, or click Choose and specify the installation folder.
Note:
It is recommended that you do not install CityEngine to a remote network drive. If the remote drive is not accessible when you are ready to uninstall, the uninstallation may fail and files may be lost.
- Review the summary information and click Install to begin the installation.
- When the installation is complete, click Done to exit the installer.
- After the License Manager service has been successfully configured, you can authorize CityEngine for use. For more information, see Authorize the software.
