Service credits in ArcGIS StoryMaps

Credits are the currency used in ArcGIS Online and across ArcGIS for transactions such as using storage, spatial analysis, and premium content. In ArcGIS StoryMaps, credits are only consumed for data storage, capabilities that use premium content, and ArcGIS Online analysis.

Note:

Credits are only used for premium content in ArcGIS StoryMaps on ArcGIS Enterprise. For more information about premium content, see Configure ArcGIS Living Atlas content.

Note:

For more information about the story's credits section, where you can provide background information and attribution for the resources used in a story, see Add credits.

File storage

File storage is calculated by GB per month. File storage includes the following:

  • Uploaded images
  • Uploaded videos
  • Express maps and story content (typically very small)

Other services

File storage is calculated by GB per month. File storage includes the following:

  • Premium content (per view)
    • Maps from ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World
    • Layers in maps you've made or from your organization
  • Feature or tile storage (monthly per GB)
    • If a story uses a web map or web scene that contains hosted feature or tile layers, those items will separately consume credits for data storage, but there are no additional credits consumed for using them in a story.

The following tips may be helpful for managing credits used for ArcGIS StoryMaps:
