Introduction to District Energy Data Management

District Energy Data Management can be used to map district heating and cooling assets, edit data, and view system maps in the field and office.

The District Energy Data Management solution turns ArcGIS into a system for district energy organizations to easily inventory their assets and keep information up to date. It provides simple-to-use interactive system maps and dashboards for office and field staff and increases collaboration.

After deploying the solution, organizations with no district energy data can immediately begin mapping their district energy systems using GPS or digitizing data with web or desktop software. Organizations with existing spatial heating and cooling data can load it and begin using the apps.

District Energy Asset Collector has been renamed District Energy Field Editor. The District Energy Dashboard theme has been updated. The District Energy Data Manager ArcGIS Pro project was replaced with configuration instructions to create your own District Energy Data Manager project. Field and editing feature service views have been replaced with the source feature service. All District Energy Map Notes layers and apps have been removed from the solution. This capability is now available in the Map Notes solution.
