Introduction to Crime Analysis

Crime Analysis can be used to enhance public safety, identify emerging trends, organize law enforcement operations and plan crime-prevention strategies.

Requirements

Crime Analysis requires the following:

To deploy this solution, you must have an ArcGIS organizational account. After deploying the solution, you can download it from your organization and begin using it in ArcGIS Pro.

4.0	A new Crime Analysis add-in (2024.11.21) includes references to the Hot Spot Analysis Comparison tool, Space Time Kernel Density tool, and Capture To Clipboard command. The new add-in addresses a bug where the Calculate Prediction Zone tool would fail unexpectedly when processing a large number of input features (BUG-000130537).
3.0	A new Crime Analysis Add-In (2022.7.21) that includes support for ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and all languages supported in ArcGIS Pro 3.0. A series of enhancements to the Crime Analysis ArcGIS Pro project.
2.1	A new Crime Analysis Add-In (2021.6.29) that resolves an issue that could cause the Crime Analysis ribbon to become unresponsive. A series of enhancements to the Crime Analysis ArcGIS Pro project.
2.0	A new Crime Analysis Add-In (2020.12.17) that includes a new ribbon design and analysis gallery. A series of new capabilities have been added: Add Graphics Layer, Colocation Analysis tool, Density-based Clustering tool, Link Charts, and Reports. Existing tools have been updated to simplify parameters, streamline licensing and increase performance. In some cases, tool names have also been changed.
1.0	Crime Analysis is now available in the ArcGIS Solutions app. The Crime Analysis Add-In (2019.10.16).
