In Options
, you can use the Save layer option
to save a 3D layer's style and properties to the layer item. For example, this allows you to configure pop-ups and set styles to a layer and save those directly to the layer. The saved layer can then be added to any scene and the saved pop-up configuration and style are applied.
Note:
The option to save a layer is only available to the layer owner or organization administrators.
To save a layer, do the following:
- Verify you are signed in to your account and open Scene Viewer.
- Open an existing scene.
- Set the styles and properties for the layer.
- Click Options
and select Save layer. The layer style and properties are saved to the layer item.
- You can make additional changes to the layer style and properties and click Save layer.
The new layer style and properties are saved to the layer item.
- Close the scene without saving.
The layer style and properties at the opening of the scene are maintained in the web scene item. You can further change the layer styles and properties and save the scene, and those changes are saved to the web scene item. When you open the scene again, the layer style and properties in the web scene item override the saved layer item configuration.
