Before installing ArcGIS for AutoCAD, ensure you have a supported version of AutoCAD on the computer you are trying to use ArcGIS for AutoCAD. All previous versions of ArcGIS for AutoCAD must be removed before proceeding with the installation.
Download
Complete the following steps to download ArcGIS for AutoCAD:
- Review the ArcGIS for AutoCAD system requirements to verify operating system and hardware prerequisites.
- Download ArcGIS for AutoCAD from the home page.
Install
Complete the following steps to install ArcGIS for AutoCAD:
- Start the ArcGIS for AutoCAD installation program and click Next when you are ready to proceed.
- Review the license agreement and accept it if you agree. Click Next to continue with the installation.
You must exit if you do not agree with the terms.
- Specify the installation context under which ArcGIS for AutoCAD will be installed, either per machine (all users) or per user. Click Next to continue.
- Review the installation location. Click Next to continue.
ArcGIS for AutoCAD must be installed in the specified location.
- Click Install to start the installation.
