A useful way of authoring an engaging scene is to configure layers that represent real-world objects or features such as buildings, trees, utilities, water bodies, and so on.
In addition, you can add thematic layers that visualize a specific theme or topic such as population density, crime rates, or flood impact in 3D.
The layer properties that you can set, such as symbology, transparency, display filters, labels, pop-ups, or animations, will vary for different layer types.
