Data Appliance overview

The following five product options are available with Data Appliance 6.2 for ArcGIS:

  • Data Appliance for ArcGIS World Basic—Includes all maps and imagery available on the Data Appliance at small and medium scales down to 1:72,000. Delivered as three (3) 4-terabyte (TB) drives. New customers receive drives on a 1U chassis.
  • Data Appliance for ArcGIS World Standard—Includes everything in World Basic plus all large-scale maps worldwide. For World Imagery, large-scale imagery is a subset of the imagery available in the World Advanced option. Delivered as thirty-three (33) 4-TB drives. New customers receive drives on a 4U chassis.
  • Data Appliance for ArcGIS World Advanced—Includes everything in World Basic and World Standard. For World Imagery, all high-resolution imagery is included. For details, see the World Imagery service description. Delivered as sixty-six (66) [33 + 33] 4-TB drives. New customers receive drives on two (2) 4U chassis.
  • Data Appliance for ArcGIS North America Standard—Includes everything in World Basic plus all large-scale maps for North America. For World Imagery, large-scale imagery is a subset of the imagery available in the North America Advanced option. Delivered as eighteen (18) 4-TB drives. New customers receive drives on a 4U chassis.
  • Data Appliance for ArcGIS North America Advanced—Includes everything in World Basic and North America Standard. For World Imagery, all high-resolution imagery is included for North America. For details, see the World Imagery service description. Delivered as forty (40) [18 + 22] 4-TB drives. New customers receive drives on two (2) 4U chassis.
