Workforce for ArcGIS has regular updates for both the website and the mobile app.

Project owner

The web app was updated in January 2017.

  • Messaging now indicates when a worker from another organization has been invited but hasn't accepted the invitation.
  • The web app is now localized into Bosnian, Croatian, Indonesian, and Serbian.

Dispatcher

The web app was updated in January 2017.

  • Dispatchers can now disable clustering, allowing them to see individual assignments even when multiple assignments are in the same area.
  • When creating assignments, you can now filter the assignment type and priority lists to quickly access the value you need.
  • To better identify workers on the map, dispatchers now see a worker thumbnail or initials instead of a pin. Additionally, if you hover over a worker in the worker list, their image on the map expands.
  • See how far each worker is from the current assignment to help identify who you should assign.
  • If a worker has never signed in to a project, you'll see No location below their name in the workers list.
  • Offline worker status has been renamed to Not Working to be consistent with the mobile app.
  • The web app is now localized into Bosnian, Croatian, Indonesian, and Serbian.

Mobile worker

Android

The mobile app for Android was released in February 2017. It is the first release on Android and is feature equivalent to Workforce on iOS.
