Modify custom portal roles

Organizations that use custom roles to define privileges can enable privileges for the role to allow members to complete specific tasks, such as creating a workflow item, retrieving the email addresses of other organization members, or running a geoprocessing tool.

To allow members to create workflow items, assign the following privileges:

  • Publish hosted feature layers

Sharing

  • Share with groups
  • Make groups visible to organization

To allow members to retrieve email addresses of other organization members with an ArcGIS Arcade expression, assign the following privilege:
