The following steps describe how to download and open a survey in the Survey123 field app. You may also have a URL or QR code that downloads and launches the survey in the Survey123 field app directly. If the survey is public, you are not required to sign in.
- Start the Survey123 field app.
If you are not already signed in, you will see the sign-in screen.
- Select Sign in and sign in with your ArcGIS organizational account.
To use a public survey, you can select Continue without signing in and open the survey directly, such as by scanning a QR code or using a URL.
- From your profile menu in the top corner, select Download Surveys to see surveys shared with you.
- Download a survey to your device.
- Select the back arrow to return to the survey gallery.
- Select the survey you just downloaded.
- Select Collect.
Now that your survey is open, you can complete the survey questions and submit your survey results.
Note:
If your survey has been configured for multiple languages, click the menu at the top of the screen and choose from the list of available languages. If no translations have been supplied, no languages are listed. The default language used is determined by your device's language setting.
If location sharing has been enabled in your organization, you will see the Location sharing button
at the top of the app. If location sharing has been configured by an organization administrator or survey author to be required, you can tap this button to see a map that shows shared locations. If location sharing is enabled but not required, tap the button to turn location sharing on or off.
