What's new

ArcGIS StreetMap Premium data is downloadable through My Esri. For details, see the StreetMap Premium Download Install Guide.

ArcGIS StreetMap Premium 2020 releases have the following improvements and enhancements:

Classic Locators deprecation

Starting the first quarter of 2021, the classic locators will be phased out and will no longer be included as part of ArcGIS StreetMap Premium. This will impact you if you use ArcMap, older versions of ArcGIS Enterprise, or have a custom workflow dependent on these locators. While Esri will continue to include the classic locators in the product until 2021, only the underlying data will be updated, and there will be no further enhancements to the locators. For more information, see the Classic Locators deprecation notice.

New Locators

The June 2020 Release of the ArcGIS Online World Geocoding Service changes the default location of PointAddress and SubAddress matches from the routing location on the street to the address location (parcel or rooftop centroid). Locators included with ArcGIS StreetMap Premium maintain the default location as the routing location, although users may change the default location in the locator properties.

Live traffic is available

ArcGIS StreetMap Premium users have the option to access a live traffic feed. Using a live traffic service with ArcGIS StreetMap Premium allows you access to high-quality live traffic data that can improve the results of Network Analyst functions such as routing. Live traffic as a service is available for an additional fee as part of the ArcGIS StreetMap Premium product. For more information, see Live traffic data.
