Adjusting the number of representatives for a district

You can adjust the number of representatives assigned to a given district to impact the target values for the district. By default, the number of representatives for each district is set to 1. By adjusting the number of representatives, you are assigning a weight to a given district. The Target and Target deviation values adjust based on the number of representatives.

1. Click the View tab.
2. Click Modify Districts.
3. Locate the District row you want to update.
4. Click the Number of Representatives field to edit.
5. Enter a new value for the number of representatives.
6. Update the number of representatives for additional districts (optional).
7. Click OK.

   The Districts window updates to reflect the new Target and Target Deviation values based on the number of representatives.
