Managing group invitations

Groups can be created by any user of the Esri Redistricting community. As groups are created, you may be invited to join a new group. Managing group invitations allows you to accept or decline a group invite.

When you login, you can accept group invitations directly from the Open Plan or Choose Template Plan dialog boxes by clicking Accept Invite and accepting or declining the invitation(s). You can also see outstanding group invitations displayed next to the plan name. This indicates the number of outstanding group invitations.

Note:

Group invitations expire after 14 days from the date the invitation is sent. Expired group invitations, will be noted as expired and users will not be able to accept the invite. Users can click on the invitation to see the group owner and reach out to the group owner directly to be re-invited to the group. Expired invitations can be permanently deleted by clicking Decline.

  1. On the Share ribbon, click Group Invites.

    The Group Invitations dialog box appears. Invitations to join groups are listed.

  2. Click to highlight a group name.

    Information about the selected group is displayed, including the title, description, owner, created date, and members.

  3. Manage the group invitation:
    • Click Accept to join the group.
    • Click Decline to decline the group invitation.
  4. Repeat steps 2–3, as needed.
  5. Click Close.
