When plans are shared with others, you can lock and unlock at the plan level. Locking a plan prevents others from making updates to a shared plan. To release the plan for further edits, you can unlock the plan.
If the plan is locked by another user, you will not have the option to lock or unlock the plan.
During the redistricting process, once a plan has been reviewed and edited, you may choose to lock a plan to finalize a plan and prevent additional edits.
- To enable the lock and unlock plan tools, the plan must first be shared with Read/Write access.
- On the Share tab, click the desired locking option:
- Lock Plan prevents the selected plan from being edited by others. The lock plan option is only available for plans that have been shared, regardless of whether you are the plan owner.
- Unlock Plan allows you to release the plan back to the member(s) whom the plan is shared. Once a plan is unlocked, those who have access to the plan can lock the plan for further edits.
