Remove access
You can remove users who have been granted permissions to the Esri Redistricting Online application. Removing access disables a user's account. The user's content and plans will remain in their account, however, groups the user owns are deleted and group membership removed. At any time, you can assign access to the user.
- Under Users, click View Users.
A list of all Esri Redistricting Online users are displayed.
Tip:
Use the forward (>>) and backward (<<) arrows to navigate through different pages of users.
- Locate a user you want to remove and click Remove Access .
A Warning dialog box appears to confirm the deletion.
- Click OK.
The user is removed and you are returned to the list of users.
View removed users
You can view users whose access has been removed from Esri Redistricting Online. The user accounts are disabled, but can be assigned access at any time.
- Under Users, click Removed Users.
A list of all user who have had access removed are displayed.
Assign access to removed users
Once users are removed, you can assign access to Esri Redistricting Online to allow access to the application again. Once access has been assigned, you need to re-assign appropriate roles to the user.
Note:
If a user account has been both removed and deleted, the users's account, content, groups are permanently deleted and must be recreated.
- Under Users, click Removed Users.
A list of all user who have had access removed are displayed.
- Locate the user you want to assign access, and click the field Assign Access.
- On the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
- Click View Users.
- Locate the user who access was just assigned and click Edit.
- Assign the appropriate role(s) and click Save.
Delete users
You can choose to delete users from Esri Redistricting Online.
Caution:
When users are deleted, this permanently deletes the user content, groups and user account.
- Under Users, click View Users.
A list of all Esri Redistricting Online users are displayed.
- Locate a user you want to remove and click Remove Access .
A Warning dialog box appears to confirm the deletion.
- Click OK.
The user is removed and you are returned to the list of users.
- Under Users, click Removed Users.
A list of all user who have had access removed are displayed.
- Locate the user you want to assign access, and click the field Delete.
- On the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
