Access ArcGIS content

Note:

To access private and secure content from ArcGIS Online, sign in using your ArcGIS Online organizational account. If you don't have an ArcGIS account, sign up for a free ArcGIS trial to get started. ArcGIS Maps for Power BI does not currently support ArcGIS Enterprise in a disconnected environment. It is assumed that the authentication method used to access the platform has been properly configured by the ArcGIS administrator. Public ArcGIS Online accounts are not supported

ArcGIS Online users can sign in using their organizational credentials and use their own ArcGIS content, such as basemaps or reference layers, in ArcGIS Maps for Power BI.

Note:

Maps containing premium content are visible only to Plus subscribers and ArcGIS Online users with the appropriate privileges.

What you get

When you sign in to ArcGIS Maps for Power BI using your ArcGIS Online credentials, you have access to all the features of a Plus subscription in addition to content in your ArcGIS Onlineorganization.

Note:

ArcGIS Maps for Power BI supports ArcGIS Online only. It does not currently support ArcGIS Enterprise.

View maps

When you create a map, consider your target audience. Premium content from a Plus subscription or content from your ArcGIS Online organization may not be visible to nonsubscribed users. The following table indicates the type of content available to different users:
