The ArcGIS Instant Apps assistant uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) to do the following:
- Translate custom input text when configuring an app.
- Enable users of Reporter apps to complete forms by uploading photos.
AI capabilities and assistants may be in preview or beta.
Note:
Your ArcGIS Online administrator needs to configure assistants before you can access the Instant Apps assistant capabilities. You must also have the privilege to use AI assistants. For beta capabilities, your administrator must turn off the Block Esri apps and capabilities while they are in beta setting. Other account types, such as public accounts, are not currently supported.
For more information about each generative AI capability, see the following:
- Translation assistant (preview) in the Translate app help topic
- AI image extraction (beta) in the Reporter help topic
