When sharing a public event, ensure that both the event and the site or page are shared publicly.

Accessibility best practices for displaying events
Both the Featured event card and the Upcoming events card use the background color and text color set in the initiative site's Theme settings.
If your event displays with a background and text color that are both light or both dark, they may not have enough contrast to meet accessibility standards. To change these colors without changing the site's theme settings, select Custom under Color palette in the Appearance menu of the event's settings.
