The Building Explorer widget allows you to filter and explore the various components of building scene layers by their level, construction phase, or disciplines and categories. You can add one or many building scene layers together in a web scene to view and analyze them in their spatial context. Click the Building Explorer tool 
in the Map widget to access the Building Explorer widget and expand the menu list to select the building scene layer you want to analyze. See Explore building scene layers to learn more.
Note:
The Building Explorer widget is only visible when a web scene is active in the Map widget.
The menu list in the Building Explorer widget displays None if the web scene does not contain any building scene layers.
Use cases
The Building Explorer widget allows you to perform tasks such as the following:
- Navigate through complex building scene layer content more efficiently by selecting the specific disciplines and categories to be reviewed.
- Show the projected completion of structures for each phase of construction.
- Select building levels to focus attention on areas where work is actively being completed or plan for upcoming work.
