Create a project account

On the Accounts page, you can create an account that associates a BIM 360 or an Autodesk Construction Cloud project with a GeoBIM project. The account allows GeoBIM to securely access BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud data.

Note:

See User role and feature access documentation before you create a project account.

1. On the project's Accounts page, click Create New.

   The Autodesk Authorization application page appears on a new tab in your browser.

   Note:

   If you aren't signed in to your BIM 360 account, you are prompted to sign in.

2. Click Allow to authorize GeoBIM to access your BIM 360 account.

   The Authorization application page closes and the BIM Account drop-down menu appears on the Add Account dialog box.

   Note:

   If you receive an authorization error, click Cancel and repeat steps 1 and 2.

3. Click the BIM Account drop-down arrow and choose the account to associate with the project.
4. Optionally, turn off the All Project toggle button, click the BIM Projects drop-down arrow, and choose the BIM 360 project to associate with the GeoBIM project.
5. Click OK.

   The account is created and appears on the Accounts page.

   

   Note:

   You can only create one account per GeoBIM project.
