The 3D Analysis tools are displayed on a bar at the upper right of the map. These tools are only visible when a web scene is active in the Map widget. The following are the 3D Analysis tools:
- Daylight—See how sunlight and shadows affect the scene at different times of the day or year (see Adjust daylight settings in ArcGIS Online).
- Weather—Enhance scene visualizations with weather effects (see Visualize weather in scenes in ArcGIS Online).
- Shadow cast—Analyze the cumulative effects of shadows cast by objects in the scene over time.
- Line of sight—Perform visibility analysis in the scene.
Note:
In the App Editor, turn on the 3D Analysis toggle button in the Tools options to enable the 3D Analysis tools when viewing a web scene.
