Esri Japan Corporation is the exclusive distributor for and official representative of Esri in Japan, providing geographic analytics that improve spatial understanding for organizations. The advanced demographics dataset created for Japan is a dual-language dataset (Japanese and English).
Vintage
The Japanese advanced demographics dataset uses vintages 2025, 2020, 2016, 2015, and 2014.
This dataset also includes 5-25-year projections (2030, 2035, 2040, 2045, 2050), five-year growth rates (2015-2020), and projected growth rates (2025-2030, 2025-2035, and so on).
Available geographies
All Japanese advanced demographics data is aggregated to 2020 Census block boundaries.
Update frequency
Esri Japan updates the data that Esri uses for the Japanese advanced demographics dataset approximately every two years.
