Change the basemap

A basemap provides a background of geographical context for the content you want to display on a map. In Drone2Map, you can choose a basemap. You can change the basemap of the current map at any time using the basemap gallery. Drone2Map uses your licensing portal basemap gallery settings to access default Esri basemaps as well as custom basemaps shared with your organization.

1. Start Drone2Map and create or open your project.
2. On the Home tab, in the Layers group, click Basemap.
3. Click the thumbnail of the basemap you want to use.
