In the Welcome window 
in ArcGIS CityEngine, you can open recent scenes; create scenes using Get Map Data, for example; and connect to CityEngine resources such as What's New and Download Tutorials and Examples.
To access the Welcome window , click Window > Welcome from the main menu.
Also, the latest CityEngine news and announcements are listed at the bottom of the window.
