Blocks can be divided into polygonal shapes called lots.

When you select a lot shape within a block in ArcGIS CityEngine, it displays one of the following start rules:
| Lot | Polygonal shape touching a street. |
| LotInner | Lots that reside within a block but do not touch a street. |
| LotCorner | Created when the corners of a lot are given a width when you set the Block Corner Length parameter on a block with recursive or offset subdivision. |
In the Scene Editor window, lots are represented as shapes under Blocks:

Object attributes
You can select a lot in the Viewport window and manage the object attributes in the Object Attributes section of the Inspector window:

The following table describes the object attributes for lots:
shapeType | Specifies the type of lot: Lot, LotInner, or LotCorner. |
streetWidth | Array containing the street widths for each edge of the lot. The first edge of a lot is the edge with maximal street width. The value is 0 when the edge is not adjacent to a street. |
